Frequently asked questions
Is there a fee for participating in game vehicles?
No, all fees are included in the admission fee.
Are animals allowed at the event? For example, dogs?
No, leave your pets at home. Unfortunately, they are not allowed at the event. Anyone who brings one will go straight home with it, really, we don't want them there.
I have other "types" of weapons than airsoft, can I take them?
No, even if you are the "owner", do not bring weapons other than airsoft to the event. This means even if you have a nice katana on the wall at home, or a cannon or other historical pieces in the basement. Please leave everything at home and arrive only with airsoft replicas.
Is pyro allowed, can I also use smoke bombs?
No, we don't want to give the surrounding communities the impression that the area is on fire. Smoke bombs are not allowed, nor are smoke grenades. Pyro is clearly defined in the rules.
Is a 230V outlet available at the event?
230V sockets are available only in limited quantities, primarily for the purposes of organizing and operating the event. You can charge a battery (one, not 10 pcs) and only if the given electrical power station allows it. They will be available at ISAF HQ and ORG Zone.
So can I bring my own power plant?
Yes, however, as part of fire protection, you must bring a fire engine along with the headquarters, which will be stationed at the headquarters. At the same time, bring enough fuel - the organizer does not sell gasoline on site. Likewise, bring enough extension cables (at least 50m) so that the headquarters does not bother anyone directly behind the tent.
Is there catering or a snack bar available on site?
No, bring your own food. Only drinking water is available (like really drinking water, with paper, guaranteeing the drinkability of the water and its quality!).
Can I bring a grill?
Yes, but the coals or hot parts of the grill must not be in contact with the ground. Every grill must have a fire extinguisher / or a bucket of water in case of immediate extinguishing. The grill must not be left unattended!
Can I make a fire in the village/base?
If you can do without it, don't light it. If you absolutely must light it, only in a fire pit that is not in contact with the ground and according to the instructions in the rules. The organizer must personally approve the fire pit, its location and design.
I want to make an IED - what should it look like?
The basis is that it is safe and meets the parameter for pyrotechnics -> i.e. P1 up to max 2g of explosive component per piece. Each launched IED must be under the supervision of its creator/owner and IEDs cannot be left as decoy systems, e.g. in the forest without supervision.
Everyone then cleans up the mess left by the IED, including cables. The contents of each IED must be chalk (or other) colored powder (ideally red) so that the driver can see its explosion from the car.
Are civilian vehicles allowed into the area?
It is allowed to enter the villages before the start of the game to unload things, but at the moment of the start of the game all civilian cars must leave the game area. If you sleep in your car, the same applies and you sleep in the parking lot. Civilian vehicles are not allowed to enter the game area before the end of the game - Sunday 12:00
Is there a game currency? How does in-game trading work?
Game currency was not introduced in Dara 0. It will not be introduced for Dara I. yet, we want to try bartering again (bring lots of small items to exchange, e.g. chewing gum or other small items). Game currency is planned for Dara II. (September 2026)
Commercial activities in the game
We support commercial activities (kebab stand, tea sales, or anything else), we just want to know about them - so report them to the event organizer in advance (just write one email). Commercial activities that you do not report may be terminated during the event and players may be sent home.
ISAF - what to bring with you?
You will arrange your own sleeping arrangements - bring a tent, a lounger, a sleeping bag, a sleeping mat, a fire pit... there are no tents provided by the organizer, everyone must arrange their own sleeping arrangements.
Everything personal 2x - from socks, to a wallet and a flashlight to clothes or shoes.
Food - such that you can eat quickly. They recommend bringing grape sugar, nuts, bars and anything that will keep you going for 10 hours straight with physical exertion.
Water - bring something to take water with you on the task. Drinking water is in a tanker from the supplier, there is plenty of it - both for washing hands and for drinking.
Prepare for physical exertion, little sleep and fatigue that will set in after the first 24 hours!
