WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS?
How is our event different from other events on stage?
Stylized sides
Asymmetric warfare
Civilians in the spotlight
Asymmetric warfare
Each game side has its own unique style of play that helps create the atmosphere of the event.
Each side is in some way advantaged and, conversely, has some limitations.
Each side is in some way advantaged and, conversely, has some limitations.
The goodwill of the civilian population is crucial for both the Taliban and ISAF troops.
Simple rules
Rules set the boundaries of the game. We don't write the laws, but we give directions on where to play and where not to play.
Following the rules
Following the rules
The rules are controlled by Marshalls, right in the game. Entire teams are kicked out for gross violations and ignorance of the rules.

From players for players
We all have ideas about what we want to do and how things could be better. ORG actively incorporates these ideas into the game.
GAME FACTIONS

ISAF troops are establishing FOB Blessing in Kunar province on the edge of the Korengal Valley, serving as a forward position for units that are new to the region, and in a completely unstable environment. The goal is to maintain control of the region, conduct regular patrols and keep checkpoints at intersections under control, escort VIPs to meetings with local elders, keep oil wells intact and protect PRESS, who are monitoring the situation for CNN, and try to modernize local villages by building schools, hospitals and water sources. The whole situation is very complicated for the soldiers because they have to follow strict SOPs and ROE.
ISAF gameplay? = 70% Mil-sim LARP, 20% direct action, 10% other activities
The game advantages of ISAF units lie mainly in their technological equipment, but losses are very difficult to compensate for.
Medic - treating the wounded directly in the field
Helmets cover - all hits to the helmet count as a hit to ballistic protection
Better vehicles - turrets allowed (covered from all sides) and vehicles can withstand 2 hits
Technological superiority - thermal imaging, NVG and use of drones allowed.
Strict ROE - No shooting unless fired upon, no shooting an unarmed person

Civilians, Afghan indigenous tribes who have lived here for many years according to their own traditions. Each village is governed by a council of elders who set the direction of the village. Civilians are distrustful of foreigners and at the same time want to escape poverty and ease the pressure of the Taliban. Soldiers bring wealth to the village, which they offer in exchange for the village's affection and recognition of Western values, but some civilians have family traditions strongly rooted in the insurgency. Civilians are not fighters, they are LARP players who run their own teahouses, shops, and are a source of important game commodities that both ISAF and the Taliban want.
Game content of civilians, Afghan tribes? = 80% LARP, 10% direct action, 10% other activities
The game advantages of civilians mainly lie in generating game items that both sides of the conflict strive for and playing LARP in their own village.
Production of explosives - production of IEDs, but they are not allowed to use them themselves
Anti-vehicle ammunition - production of all types of anti-vehicle ammunition
Heavy Weapons - produces grenade launchers and other heavy weapons (ammunition factory)
Language barrier - may not understand everything Western troops want to say
Difficult access to their own weapons - They have no weapons at the start

The Taliban insurgents , who have long roots in the valley, are trying to prevent the Western infidels from imposing Western customs on the civilians/villagers. They are proud warriors strong in their faith and are putting pressure on civilians not to be swayed by the infidels' offers of wealth, chopping off their hands, executing and recruiting them, arming civilians, attacking military convoys, blowing up vehicles with IEDs and trying to capture Western VIPs and/or PRESS so they can execute them on camera or get a ransom. The Korengal has been in Taliban hands for years and now the insurgents have to defend their holy ground from the infidels.
What can you expect from the Taliban, what might the game look like? 50% direct action, 40% LARP, 10% other activities
The Taliban insurgents' in-game strengths lie in their fighting style and ability to appear as unarmed civilians, using the enemy's moral principles against them.
Short refresh time - they have half the refresh time to create higher pressure
IED - may use IEDs to destroy ISAF vehicles, see rules
Weaker vehicles - without fortified turrets (only a gun carriage) and can be stopped by even one hit
Thermal imaging prohibited - the conflict is asymmetrical. NVG allowed.
Drone ban - No use of any unmanned aerial vehicles (drones, UAVs)

WHAT NOT TO EXPECT FROM THE GAME
-
PLACKOBITKU - If you don't like walking, you want to walk 100m to the event and then fight, this is not the event for you! Our mil-sim also includes moving, waiting for a position or patrolling! If you don't want to read the rules carefully, but just fight, this is not the event for you, as we believe in fair play and following the rules!
-
SAME OPTIONS FOR ALL - they are not the same! Depending on which side you play for, you have options in the game. If you play for the rebels, you have to accept the role and style of play, just like with the villagers or ISAF. The game sides do not have the same options in the game, on the contrary, we support asymmetrical conflict and each faction is different!
-
A DROP FULL OF PLASTIC - do you want to shoot bags of bullets and cover everything that moves with plastic? - You won't find that here, the game is oriented elsewhere and shooting is, for example, the last option for an ISAF soldier, because he follows strict deployment rules.
-
ISAF GRILL-SIM - If you want to play in a way where you only go into action after lunch, or if you are bothered by lack of sleep or fatigue, you'd better go with the civilians, because ISAF is played in rotations and you go into battle when the command says so!
-
CASUAL GAME - If you want action where you can do whatever you want and don't care about faction leaders or village elders, again, this is not the place for you. The authorities in the game are the authorities outside the game, and if you don't want to be pulled along, go somewhere else.
-
NO ISAF SOF/SF - Do you think that if you have gear and have seen a few movies, you know something and can go to Dara for SOF? Unfortunately, all soldiers are just ordinary platoons and if you want special treatment, you are still out of luck. Only after 3 tours of duty for ISAF (i.e. at the earliest in 2027 for the Dara III event) can you try to get something more - we will know you and you us, we will know how it works and what the game is!
